Create from a conversation
Describe the app you have in mind, and AI Wiz can create the pages, data, and logic that bring it together. Add your requirements, constraints, and intended behavior in your own words.
Attach specs and images
Attach PDF specs, wireframes or screenshots to accurately convey whats in your mind. AI Wiz can design your app based on the attachments.
Choose how AI Wiz works
Choose an available AI model and reasoning level for the task. Decide whether AI Wiz should ask before carrying out changes or proceed without confirmation for each turn. Eligible plans also offer HyperBoost for faster responses.
Credits and usage
Keep track of your AI Wiz credits as you build. Your remaining balance is visible in the AI Wiz window, and individual responses can show the credits used. Open your balance to review your AI Wiz usage for the past 12 months.
Understand and edit the result
AI Wiz works with the same organized components you see in the Project Editor. Explore the Pages, Database, flows, and code it creates, then make changes visually, write code, or return to AI Wiz.
Security & Access
Control who can access your app and what they can do. Manage users, organize them into groups, and apply role-based access to pages, data, Web Hooks, Connections, AI Agents and other protected resources.
Protected by default. Open by choice.
Your app starts protected. Decide which parts should be public and which should require users to sign in. Use groups and role levels to give people access to the pages, data, and operations they need.
Manage your app’s users
Create and manage the users who sign in to your app. Maintain their account details, control whether they can authenticate, and assign the groups and role levels appropriate to their responsibilities.
Add or update users as your team or audience changes.
Assign users to groups
Assign users to groups that reflect how your app is used—for example, Customers, Support, Finance, or Managers. A user can belong to more than one group. Use those groups throughout the app to define access to protected resources.
Set role levels within groups
Give users a role level within each group and specify the minimum level required to access a resource or perform an operation.
For example, Support staff may be able to view information, while a Support Supervisor can access additional operations. A user’s role in one group is independent of their role in another.
Choose what is public
Make a page or supported operation available to everyone when your app needs a public experience. Keep other parts available only to signed-in users or selected groups. Build an app with a public landing page, for example, while protecting its customer portal and administrative features.
Protect pages and frontend code assets
Control access to individual pages and supported JavaScript and CSS assets using your app’s users and groups.
Give different audiences access to the interfaces they need—for example, a customer portal for customers and an administrative page for staff.
Control Database operations
Decide who can view, add, modify, or delete records in each Database table. Configure those operations separately so a group can have the access it needs without receiving every permission. For example, visitors could be allowed to submit a support request while only the support team can view and update requests.
Control access to Web Hooks
Decide who can invoke each Cloud Flow Web Hook, including whether it is available publicly or restricted to permitted users and groups. Inside the Web Hook’s server-side logic, add the authorization and business-rule checks needed for the requested operation.
Authenticate supported external requests
Give a Project User a Web Hook Key for supported authenticated requests from another system. The calling system can identify itself as that user and access permitted endpoints using the user’s assigned permissions. Combine the key with the Web Hook’s access settings and any checks implemented in its Cloud Flow.
Visual Page Editor
Design and refine your app’s interface visually. Create pages and forms, customize individual elements, and combine ioLoop’s visual tools with your own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Create visually. Make it yours.
Start with AI Wiz or build directly in the editor. Arrange your interface, refine individual elements, and add your own code whenever you need more control.
Click below to watch a demo:
Design pages
Build and refine your interface in the Page Editor. Arrange layouts and content, select individual elements, and adjust their appearance and properties—all without writing HTML or CSS for every change.
Edit AI Wiz-generated pages yourself, or use AI Wiz whenever you want help making changes.
Page Elements
Create your interface with a library of ready-to-use elements. Combine containers, rows, columns, headings, text, images, buttons, menus, tables, cards, and input controls to build the experience you have in mind. Select an element to configure its content, layout, styling, and other available properties.
No-Code Functional Widgets
Add configured no-code components for common application needs. Display records with a Data Table, include an AI Agent interface, add a supported payment experience, or present video and other media.
Combine Widgets with your page layout and Page Flow to create interactive experiences.
Reuse sections across pages
Assemble Structured Pages from independently managed Page Slices. Reuse a header, footer, promotional banner, or other section across multiple pages, while giving each page its own content and arrangement.
Update a shared slice once, and the change is reflected across the pages that use it when you publish.
Design for all screens
Create interfaces for the devices your users work on. Adjust your layouts and styling for different screen sizes, then preview your pages as you refine the experience.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Extend your pages with custom styling, scripts, and supported third-party browser libraries. Include reusable CSS and JavaScript across your project or load them only where needed. You can also import supported HTML into the Page Editor and continue editing the converted content visually
Frontend Logic
Define how your app responds to users with visual programming and JavaScript. Build browser-side logic with Page Flow, add custom code where you need it, or create your own frontend using ioLoop’s Client API.
Build interactive pages with AI and visual logic
Ask AI Wiz to create your frontend logic, then see and refine how your pages respond to users, work with data, and update the interface. Edit the logic with Page Flow’s visual programming blocks, add JavaScript where you need it, or continue working with AI Wiz.
Click below to watch a demo:
Program visually with Page Flow
Define the logic for each Page or Form on a visual canvas. Connect blocks for events, actions, values, conditions, loops, and functions to express how your interface should behave. Organize related logic into named procedures and separate groups, making it easier to follow and revise as your app grows.
Combine visual logic with JavaScript
Add JavaScript directly within Page Flow wherever you need it. Use Custom Code for statements and Code Expressions to calculate values that other blocks can use. Keep the broader logic visible on the canvas while using code for calculations, transformations, API calls, or other specialized behavior.
Use Web APIs and third party libraries
Extend your frontend logic with standard browser Web APIs and third-party JavaScript libraries. Use them in your custom code to create specialized interactions, visualizations, and other browser-based experiences. AI Wiz can help you create and refine the code alongside your visual logic.
Work with app data and server logic
Read and update permitted app data directly from Page Flow. When an operation needs trusted server-side processing, call Cloud Flow and use its response to update the interface. Handle successful and failed operations so users know what happened.
Create reusable frontend code
Write and maintain JavaScript in named Code assets that can be included on individual pages or across your app. Use them for shared functions, custom interface behavior, and logic that you want to reuse. Call an available helper from Page Flow or use your code to manage frontend behavior directly.
ioLoop Client API
Use ioLoop’s Client API directly from your frontend JavaScript to work with supported page content, Forms, interface actions, and permitted app data. The same Client API foundation supports ioLoop’s built-in Forms, Widgets, and Page Flow blocks, so you can choose the approach that fits the experience you want to create.
Backend Logic
Build the server-side logic behind your app with Cloud Flow. Ask AI Wiz to create or refine it, program visually, or combine visual blocks with Node.js, JavaScript and ioLoop’s Server API.
Build the logic behind your app
From business rules and data processing to integrations and background tasks, Cloud Flow brings your server-side logic together in an environment you can understand and control. Let AI Wiz build it, edit it visually, and add JavaScript whenever you need it.
Click below to watch a demo:
Program server-side logic visually
Build backend logic on the Cloud Flow canvas using visual programming blocks. Express conditions, loops, functions, data operations, and more while keeping the structure of your logic visible. Ask AI Wiz to create or modify a Cloud Flow, then inspect and edit it yourself—or continue refining it with AI Wiz.
Create Web Hooks and Endpoints
Create HTTP endpoints that receive requests, run your server-side logic, and return a response. Call them from your app’s pages or make them available to other applications and services.
Use Web Hooks to process requests, receive notifications, perform protected operations, and return results to the caller.
Run background tasks
Build server-side tasks that operate independently of a page or an incoming Web Hook request. Use them to initialize shared logic, process data, or perform work controlled by the task’s own logic. For recurring work, implement timer-based behavior within the task.
Combine visual logic with server-side JavaScript
Add JavaScript directly to Cloud Flow using Custom Code and Code Expression blocks. Keep the overall logic visible while using code for specialized calculations, transformations, API calls, or other operations. AI Wiz can create and refine both the visual blocks and the custom code, and you can edit either directly.
Work with your app's data
Read, query, create, update, and delete records as part of your server-side logic. Combine Database operations with validation, calculations, business rules, and calls to other services. Use visual Database blocks or JavaScript with ioLoop’s Server API, including server-side capabilities beyond those available through the Client API.
Create and process files
Work with files as part of your server-side logic. Create reports, read or transform file contents, process images, manage stored files, and associate files with Database records.
Use visual blocks for supported file operations or the Server API for more specialized processing.
ioLoop Server API
Use ioLoop’s Server API from custom JavaScript to work with supported Database, file, integration, and system capabilities. Cloud Flow’s visual blocks and the Server API give you complementary ways to build backend behavior, so you can choose the approach that fits each part of your logic.
Backend Programming docsNode.js modules and SDKs
Extend server-side JavaScript with supported Node.js modules and a curated selection of third-party libraries and SDKs. Use available provider SDKs for functionality that goes beyond ioLoop’s built-in integration operations. AI Wiz can help write and refine the code alongside the rest of your Cloud Flow.
No Metering of CPU/RAM usage
Run your backend logic without tracking charges for CPU time, memory usage, or individual server operations. Your app runs within the capacity included in your plan, and you can add capacity at a fixed monthly price as your needs grow. No runtime credits to spend and no per-operation overages.
Database
Create and manage the data behind your app with ioLoop’s integrated Database. Ask AI Wiz to build your tables and queries, configure them yourself, and use your data throughout your app.
A structured foundation for your data
AI Wiz can create your app’s data structure within ioLoop’s Database. Explore the tables, fields, queries, and access rules it creates, then refine them yourself or continue working with AI Wiz.
Click below to watch a demo:
Create tables visually
Organize your app’s information into tables for customers, orders, events, registrations, or whatever your app needs. Create and edit tables in the Database editor, or ask AI Wiz to create and refine them as part of building your app.
Create reusable queries
Define named queries to retrieve the data your app needs. Configure search criteria, select returned fields, include related data from other tables, and set the sorting order. Use the same query from Pages, Widgets, Page Flow, Cloud Flow, AI Agents, and custom code instead of rebuilding the retrieval logic each time.
Associate files with records
Associate uploaded or generated files with your Database records. Store receipts with orders, attachments with support requests, or documents with customer records.
Files associated with a record follow the access rules of its table, so you can configure access alongside the data they belong to.
Control access to your data
Decide which users and user groups can view, add, modify, or delete records in each table.
Configure access for the way your app works—for example, allow visitors to submit a form while restricting who can view the submitted records.
Use data throughout your app
Connect the same Database tables to Pages, Forms, Data Tables, Page Flow, Cloud Flow, AI Agents, and custom code. Use ready-made components for common data interactions, visual logic for custom workflows, or ioLoop’s APIs when writing your own JavaScript.
No per-operation Database charges
Your app’s Database reads and writes do not consume runtime credits or generate per-operation charges. Choose your plan and any additional capacity at known prices as your app grows. AI Wiz credits are used for AI-assisted development, separately from your app’s Database operations.
ioLoop Client and Server API
Access your Database from custom JavaScript using ioLoop’s Client and Server APIs. Use the Client API for supported frontend operations and the broader Server API for additional server-side capabilities.
Combine API calls with visual Page Flow or Cloud Flow, or write your own code for the behavior you need.
Connections & Integrations
Connect your app to the services and APIs you use. Bring external capabilities into your workflows, exchange data between systems, and let other applications securely call your app.
Your app and your services, working together
Connect your app to the tools your business relies on, integrate with HTTP APIs, and bring those services into your app’s logic. With Web Hooks, other systems can also send requests to your app and receive a response.
Click below to watch a demo:
Connect to services you already use
Bring familiar services into your app. Work with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Gmail; use Stripe or Square for payments; send messages with Twilio, SendGrid, or Slack; and connect to services such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, OpenAI and more.
Let other apps call yours
Create Cloud Flow Web Hooks that receive HTTP requests from other applications and services. Process the incoming request, work with your app’s data or logic, and return a response. Configure who can invoke each Web Hook and define the checks your application needs before carrying out an operation.
Use Connections in visual logic
Bring supported Connection operations into Page Flow or Cloud Flow using visual blocks. Choose the Connection, provide the information the operation needs, and handle its result as part of your app’s logic.
Ask AI Wiz to help build the supported logic around a Connection, then inspect and refine the flow yourself.
Use APIs and SDKs
Work with supported Connections from your JavaScript using ioLoop’s APIs. In Cloud Flow, use available service-specific Server APIs or authenticated Node.js SDK objects when you need more control over a provider’s capabilities.
Combine custom code with visual blocks in the same workflow, with AI Wiz available to help create and refine the code.
Connect AI Agents to tools
Extend supported AI Agent capabilities with Connections to external services. Connect to a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to make its supported tools available to an AI Agent, or call MCP tools from supported app logic. Combine external tools with the Agent’s own Cloud Flow and your app’s data to create richer AI-powered workflows.
AI Agents
Add AI-powered capabilities to your app with agents that can use your data, work with connected services, and perform functions you define. Configure their behavior, provide knowledge and tools, and make them available to users or backend workflows.
Give your AI agents more to work with
Create agents that can answer questions, use your app’s data, and perform actions through tools. Define the logic behind custom functions visually with Cloud Flow, add JavaScript where you need it, and use AI Wiz to help configure and refine supported parts of an existing agent.
Configure agents for a purpose
Create an AI Agent for the role you want it to perform. Give it instructions, configure its model behavior, and choose the information and tools it can use. Build an agent to help users find information, work with app data, or support a particular business workflow.
Give agents knowledge and tools
Choose the Knowledge Sources each agent needs. Give it access to files, Database tables, custom functions, web search, MCP servers, or supported Connections. Describe what each source provides so the agent can use it in the context of the task.
Use your documents and files
Provide files as Knowledge Sources so an agent can refer to relevant material when answering questions. For example, give a support agent product documentation or provide a policy document to an agent that helps employees find information.
Work with your app’s Database
Connect an agent to a Database table so it can work with your app’s records. Configure whether the agent can only read data or also create, update, or delete records. Use table access rules and the agent’s configuration to control the operations available to its users.
Visually program custom function tools
Give an agent custom functions that perform work in your app. Define each function as a tool the agent can use, then implement its server-side logic in the agent’s Cloud Flow. Use visual blocks for conditions, data operations, integrations, and other logic. Add JavaScript where you need it, and use AI Wiz to help refine supported parts of the flow.
Connect agents to external services
Give agents access to supported functions provided by your Integrations & Connections. Use external services as part of an agent’s work, alongside the app’s own data and custom functions. Connect to a remote MCP server when an agent needs tools made available through the Model Context Protocol.
Add an agent to your pages
Place an AI Agent Widget on a page to give users a conversational interface. Choose the agent and configure the widget’s presentation, including its title, logo, and appearance. Users can interact with the agent in your app while the agent’s instructions, Knowledge Sources, and functions determine how it responds.
Implement Agentic Loops
Invoke an agent from Cloud Flow when AI processing is part of a server-side task. Use it from a Web Hook or Background Task to summarize information, classify a request, extract details, or support another workflow. The agent can run without a chat interface, allowing its output to be used by the rest of your application logic.
Publishing & Deployment
Publish your app and share it with your users. Start with an automatically assigned ioLoop URL on the Free plan, or choose a custom ioLoop subdomain or your own domain on a paid plan.
Your app, ready to share
From an assigned ioLoop URL to an address of your own, choose how people reach your app. Publish when you’re ready, then keep building and release updates as your app evolves.
Publish with the Free Plan
Get your app online using an automatically assigned ioLoop URL. Share the address with the people you want to use your app and start exploring what you’ve built.
Choose your ioLoop subdomain
On a paid plan, choose an available ioLoop subdomain that fits your app e.g. yourapp.ioloop.app. Give users an address that’s easy to recognize and share.
Connect your own domain
