ioLoop Platform Rules

Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Platform Rules explain what is not allowed when using ioLoop. They apply to all use of the Services, including accounts, Customer Content, AI features, integrations, hosted projects, and activity by End Users that you authorize or knowingly permit.
These Rules form part of the ioLoop Terms of Service. Examples are illustrative, not exhaustive. You may not attempt, assist, encourage, or enable another person to violate these Rules.

1. Illegal, Fraudulent, or Harmful Activity

Do not use ioLoop to:
  • violate applicable law or another person’s legal rights;
  • commit or facilitate fraud, theft, extortion, money laundering, bribery, tax evasion, or deceptive schemes;
  • operate pyramid, Ponzi, fake-investment, advance-fee, or similar schemes;
  • create phishing pages, steal credentials, impersonate others, or misrepresent affiliation or authority;
  • facilitate trafficking, exploitation, or other serious criminal activity; or
  • distribute unlawful goods, services, or content.

2. Child Safety

Do not create, upload, generate, host, solicit, distribute, or facilitate:
  • child sexual abuse material or sexualized content involving a minor, including fictional, synthetic, or AI-generated material;
  • grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, or harmful contact with minors;
  • instructions or communities that promote child abuse or endangerment; or
  • content that identifies or targets a minor for exploitation or harm.
We may report apparent child sexual exploitation to the appropriate authorities and preservation organizations as required by law.

3. Violence and Dangerous Conduct

Do not use ioLoop to:
  • threaten, incite, praise, or facilitate violence against a person or group;
  • support violent extremist or terrorist organizations or recruitment;
  • provide operational assistance for violent wrongdoing;
  • facilitate cruelty to animals;
  • instruct people to create or use weapons to harm others; or
  • promote dangerous acts likely to cause serious injury.
Good-faith documentary, educational, news, counterspeech, safety, and fictional material may be allowed when it does not meaningfully facilitate harm.

4. Hate, Harassment, and Abuse

Do not use ioLoop to:
  • attack, dehumanize, or promote hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics;
  • harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate a person;
  • coordinate targeted abuse or unwanted contact;
  • publish personal information to facilitate harassment or harm; or
  • impersonate a person or organization deceptively.

5. Sexual Exploitation and Non-Consensual Content

Do not use ioLoop for:
  • non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, voyeurism, or sexual exploitation;
  • content depicting or facilitating rape, bestiality, or non-consensual sexual acts;
  • prostitution, sexual trafficking, or unlawful sexual services; or
  • pornographic or sexually explicit services or content.
Clinical, educational, artistic, and public-interest material may be considered in context, but the child-safety and non-consent prohibitions have no such exception.

6. Self-Harm and Eating Disorders

Do not promote, encourage, or provide personalized instructions for suicide, self-injury, or eating-disorder behavior. Supportive, preventive, recovery-oriented, documentary, or educational resources are allowed when presented responsibly.

7. Restricted Goods and Services

Do not use ioLoop to unlawfully sell, distribute, broker, or facilitate:
  • controlled substances or drug paraphernalia;
  • weapons, explosives, or regulated weapon components;
  • stolen goods or credentials;
  • counterfeit documents, currency, or products;
  • regulated gambling or wagering;
  • financial services, lending, securities, or money transmission without required authorization; or
  • other goods or services restricted by law.
You are responsible for licenses, age checks, location restrictions, disclosures, and other compliance requirements for lawful regulated activity.

8. Privacy and Personal Data

Do not:
  • collect, use, disclose, or sell personal information without a lawful basis and required notice or consent;
  • scrape, harvest, or aggregate personal information in violation of law or platform terms;
  • expose passwords, authentication tokens, financial information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive data;
  • track or surveil people without authorization;
  • identify anonymous individuals in a harmful or unlawful manner; or
  • build or use unlawful facial-recognition, biometric, or sensitive-trait profiling systems.
If your project processes personal information, you must maintain an accurate privacy notice and appropriate security.

9. Intellectual Property and Other Rights

Do not upload, generate, host, or distribute content that infringes or misappropriates copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, publicity, privacy, or other rights. Do not remove rights-management information or help others evade legitimate access controls.

10. Malware, Security Abuse, and Unauthorized Access

Do not use ioLoop to:

  • conduct denial-of-service attacks or intentionally degrade a system;
  • evade authentication, security, rate, billing, or usage controls;
  • conceal the malicious origin or destination of traffic; or
  • exploit a vulnerability beyond what is reasonably necessary for authorized security testing and responsible disclosure.
Defensive security research and testing must be authorized, scoped, and conducted without harming others.

11. Network, Messaging, and Resource Abuse

Do not:
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or communications that violate consent or opt-out laws;
  • operate open proxies, open relays, or other services that predictably enable abuse;
  • crawl or scrape in a way that violates terms, ignores access restrictions, or disrupts a service;
  • use disproportionate compute, storage, bandwidth, or requests in a way that harms other users or the Services;
  • mine cryptocurrency without our written permission;
  • create accounts or projects to evade restrictions or enforcement; or
  • artificially manipulate traffic, engagement, referrals, credits, quotas, or billing.

12. Deception and Manipulated Content

Do not use ioLoop to materially deceive people through fake identities, fabricated evidence, manipulated media, fake reviews, astroturfing, or misrepresentation of AI-generated content where the deception is likely to cause harm.
Satire, parody, fiction, and clearly labeled creative content may be allowed when they are not used for fraud, impersonation, harassment, or other harm.

13. AI and Automated Decision-Making

Do not use ioLoop AI features to:
  • make fully automated decisions that determine a person’s legal rights or access to employment, housing, credit, education, insurance, healthcare, or essential services without legally required safeguards and meaningful human review;
  • generate unlawful discriminatory profiling or decisions;
  • provide individualized professional advice in a manner that is deceptive or unsafe;
  • create deceptive political persuasion or voter-suppression systems;
  • develop or deploy autonomous weapons or systems intended to cause physical harm; or
  • bypass safeguards imposed by ioLoop or an AI provider.
You are responsible for reviewing AI output and for the consequences of its use.

14. Misrepresentation of ioLoop

Do not falsely claim that Tvara or ioLoop sponsors, endorses, certifies, or operates your project. Do not imitate official ioLoop interfaces or communications in a way likely to confuse users.

15. Enforcement

Tvara may investigate suspected violations and may:
  • warn a user or require corrective action;
  • limit features, traffic, or resources;
  • block or remove content;
  • suspend or disable a project, integration, or account;
  • preserve relevant information;
  • terminate access; and
  • report conduct to affected providers, rights holders, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities where appropriate or required.
We consider context, severity, intent, history, risk, and legal obligations. In urgent cases, we may act without advance notice. We may take action even when conduct is not expressly listed if it creates a material risk to users, third parties, or the Services.

16. Reporting Violations

Report suspected violations, illegal content, intellectual-property infringement, or security abuse to [email protected]. Include the relevant URL or project, a description of the issue, and supporting information.
Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a report.

17. Changes

We may update these Rules as the Services and relevant risks evolve. The current version will be posted at https://ioloop.com/platform-rules. Material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms or as required by law.
